So.... Since Hair is what I do best, why not share it? As you all know, I go to Toni & Guy currently for my operators license, then starting in September, I am thinking about starting the teachers program that is an additional 4-6 months.

Spring is here! Praise GOD! And I would just like to share with you the new spring lines of color and cuts from both TIGI (Toni & Guy) and Loreal Paris, Not just the 'generic' Loreal line that is sold at stores or used in platform artistry.

Cuts:

The Cropped bob
The Pixie Crop
Long Hair
The Bob

The cropped bob, is also know as the graduated bob to us TIGI girls.

The pixie crop, IT is a classic bob but slightly stacked in the back. most ladies are calling it the Victoria Beckham bump or the katie holmes style.

Long hair, however generic, is ofter thought of in the wrong light. Long hair is about to the shoulder blades when your head is up right and all the hair is behind your shoulders.

The bob, I have the bob! ( yay, I'm in this season!) IT is (generally) an all one length round cut that hits right below the chin.

Also this spring season, 'milkman braids' are everywhere! A single braid in the front hair line.

I will post pictures of some of my cuts and some examples of this season cuts and colors.

As you all know, I am currently a student at Toni & Guy hair dressing academy, and i love it!!! March 18 was our annual hair show. It is out on as a runway fashion hair show. The students (me) select a model and you have to do thier hair, make up and wardrobe, basically everything about them and down to every detail. You can choose to enter one of five catagories: Cut, Colour, Texture, Avante Garde or Modern Man. I was entered in the texture catagory. Essetially, for texture you have to show the maximum texture of the models hair, ie: curls, crimps, perms, wraps and so forth. I chose to do a route tonging curl all over my models head. It took about 5 hours to completely finish her hair, but as you see in the pictures, I only used her natual hair there is no weave or extensions used, amazingly!

I ended up taking first place in my catagory!!!!! Now, I get to head down to Dallas texas in April to compete again in anouther runway show as well have my work published and have a portfolio put together by a paid for professional phtotgrapher!....PINCH ME!

This show was amazing, so much fun and I learned so much about the industry I want to head into!...keep me in your prayers!

Also, thinking about everything just even 6 months ago I would have never in my life thought I would be where I am right now. God is always surprising me! But I love what i am doing and I cant wait to see where I can go next!

It has been way too long since I have posted! I am busy, but not too busy, we have lives. I don't really know where to start, but recently, Casey and I went down to Lee to visit Jeremiah! It was amazing! I miss him so very badly, and all of his friends are great! Casey will be calling Lee her home in the future so that's just another reason to love it! The drive home was terrible, not because of the drive, just because that we knew we were heading back to, snow, cold, life, and no Jeremiah! But we both made some very good friends and cannot wait for our next trip down!

School is awesome! I absolutely love what I am doing! It challenges me everyday and my hair and nails looks good at the same time, so why would I not like it! haha, lol! Also, I go an 119% on my latest final exam at TIGI, Praise God! Yes, I got the bonus questions!

Speaking of praising God, lately, It really the only thing that makes me feel better. There is just nothing like praising God, jumping around, being undignified and feel completely fulfilled! Ill tell you what, charismatic is where it at y'all! Also, being in the face of the secular world all day everyday is trying, but, praising God, it is honestly the only thing that has kept me sane! LOL!

lately my life has been so crazy, but that doesnt mean much because it seems that no matter my situation or level of business, I dont even compare to the rest of the world, which I must say, amazes me!

im going to Toni & Guy which a hair dressing school in Erie. I love it! I love hat i'm doing and the people I am surrounded by, which I have found out that if i dont have those two things, I am not only unhappy but fial misserably. I also feel like God has opened and closed many doors to get me to where i am right now and that is scary and amzing to me. I hate that no matter how sure you think you are about God's will there is always something more or a curve ball that come from no where! That is where I am right now, for now. We will see what happened in this next year, I feel like 2009 is going to be a huge year for me!

Snow, Snow, Snow!

Oh my word, there is just so much snow! The hot tub in my back year has disappeared and our drive is has become narrowed due to the overwhelming snow piling up! Also, tonight Shevel and I went to Ohio to pick up my new car, :) , it took us about two hours to get there then about three and a half to get home, lets just say, when we left it wasn't snowing! So anyways, I am now the owner of a 2002 Silver Ford Taurus!

Jeremiah is coming home for Thanksgiving, He will be home really late Monday night!!! YAY! Oh m it has been over three months since I have seen him, its about time he proves he a real person instead of a voice on the phone!I also start school back up December 2nd. I excited but a little upset I have to wake up in the morning now! but thats all that going on here up in this winter wonderland so far this week!

They re are so many new things going on right now! I went to a new position in Wilmar, I work in infants, and I like it so much better than the front end and what I use to do. Also I have made a new discovery, I can fit/wear kids clothes size large, which is so cool, because over the summer I had gained some weight, and over the past month I lost it all plus some so I am very happy about this new discovery!

Also, tonight I went to a bible study and we were just chit-chatting and went off on a different subject than intended and i was very thought provoking. We were talking about why bad things happen to good people. Now the bible does say that all of sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; it also says, that none of us are 'good', not one. So isn't it much easier to look at that question (why do bad things happen good people?)if we ask, why do bad things happen to bad people? Also someone had asked hte question, what if someone dies at a young age, is that a test from God or a punishment? And the Scripture Hebrews 9:27 " Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement." I believe that scripture doesn't mean that anyone has a "time", or a "specific time" to die, I believe that that verse is just stating that all men will die, you cant avoid it! So, if you go and get drunk, then get behind the wheel, you are making a choice that you are responsible for, so if you die because you were driving drunk, you have to be responsible for that choice. It "wasn't your time", don't blame God for your sin, essentially. Please give me your thought on this one.

I hate college. I know it will be over soon, I think that is the only reason that I am still hangin in there. Anatomy and physiology is very difficuly. The lab that goes with is ok, i do well in there, but this anatomy is kicking my butt. I am also taking statistics which is easy, I am aslo taking Contemporary Social Problems which gives an economic, political and social view on all sociology. I love that class!! And because im talking about it, i just remembered i do have homeowrk due for that class tomorrow. Anywho, I have also had the flu this week, ew. but its ok Im feeling better.

So im not gunna lie, im stressed. My advise to the world, dont go to school for nursing it makes you fat and stressed, which i thinking are going hand and hand...LOL! It has also been raining here for about 3 days straight, ew. and I did get a new hair cut that i do actually like. I usually hate my hair, so this a nice change. Also Jeremiah has been sick for a few days, but he is getting better, praise god. And I puked in anantomy class the other day and got sent home, and its safe to say my car has seen better days. My car has dies, praise god...LOL! I have needed a new one for awhile now and now I dont feel guilty about getting one, ince dont really have one. Also, i burn a hole in my couch down stairs with my hair strightner, so lately im batting 1000. Oh, and my Ststs. teacher i think does drugs. To day in class a girl asked him if he could go over the homework and he said he had no idea what the answers are, then we reviewed and the class correctrf 4 out of 5 problems he did on teh baord, so someone please tell me why he is teaching college stats?? Ok its late and i turned into a pumpkin when my reason for wearing make up moved to Tn. Night!

This is long time coming.....
Im just saying, if it seems like im avoiding you, I probably am! Some people just annoy me. I try yo be kind and polite and whatever else, but they continue to be controling, ignorant and self-centered. For once I would like someone to to be a real, normal person, with problems and aches and pain not a fronted perfect little person. Is that seriously too much to ask? I have found out lately that striving for approval and accemptance only makes me want to be angry. Obviously im am struggling with bitterness right now. Sue me.

The next 20 months of my life are going to be the most bust, dramatic, stressful, fun and just annoying 20 months ever! Nursing school start in about 5 days, Im ready to be done and I havent started, is that bad?!?! LOL. Other than that, Jeremiah is down in Cleveland TN, he goes to to LEE University, and seems to like it fine, which is great because I think I would be a lot more unhappy if I knew he was unhappy. I miss him, but we're fine! We'll see what happending these next 20 months!

I am miserable. I have been up since 12:30 this morning because I am sick. My throat hurt too bad to swallow so I have been drinking hot tea and downing couch drops as well as blowing my nose ever other minute. So what else can you do in the middle of the night when you cant sleep....BLOG! LOL. goodness, tomorrow, well today i guess, im going over to Jeremiahs for a movie day since he just had his wosdon teeth taken out, all 4 of them. so I guess now were going to just be 2 pilesof patheticness watching movies and eating soft things! haha... were perfect for each other!im hoping to be able to see my doctor today, since i work at my doctors office that shouldnt be too tasking, but you never know. Any ways, im hoping to see one of the doctors this morning before they start seeing patients. Also, Im sneezing all of the time which is mainly why i cant seem to sleep at all. Its kinda weirs because I rarely sneezy, well, I do sneeze randomly like a normal person but never sneezing like every 5 minutes... any who thanks for reading my 4 in the morning rant.

Well, all I can say is that is it 12:46 am. and I am blogging! I have missed the blogging world terribly! I know I had said that i would be better about blogging but this time I do infact, ahve a very good excuse. My sister Casey who is 15 had emergency surgery last Tuesday, he she she her appendix removed. She had never had any problems or sign until the night before she went it. My mothers appendix ruptured when she was 14, so ever since I was a wee one my mom has been uber careful with all of her kids when ever we are sick, well that was a good thing last week. Casey's appendix was so bad that the doctor said even waiting 8 more house could have been too much nad it might have ruptured, scary i know. But... she is well! She was a high risk case so she was in the hospital for 3 days but she is homenow healing very well!

Also my best friend Pookie (Nicole) is up here in North East visiting from allen town, which is about 8 hours away from here. She is here for 2 weeks! Goodness, were having so much fun! ...and taking lots of pictures... so i will post them when its not 1:00 am.

so obviously i havent blogged in a while, and Im am so sorry! I have been outrageously busy! Goodness, I'll try to update yins from the past 2 months...

Well I graduated from High School, which was a huge relief and success! Although I am kinda nervious for Nursing School in the fall. Jeremiah and I are both busy with both of our families... If i could ask for some prayer for the both of us, Jeremiah and I, we just need some direction! I have recently stopped working as many hours as I was at the Dr.'s office, because it was jsut way too overwhelming!

My bubba ( great aunt who was pretty much my grama ) passed away a couple days before fathers day, so that was sad, although I miss her so much, she was an amazing woman of God and shes where she belongs. She had suffered from Lymphoma for many before she passed.

Now coming up... I will be traveling to SanAntonio Tx with my drama team the first week in July to compete nationally with 2 of our drmams that we took first with in our state compititions. That is really all I can think of for now... hopefully, it wont be 2 months before i get on here again...

Good news, over these past couple of weeks I have been been taking what are called NOCTI tests, theyre nursing written and practicle tests that you have to pass to one graduate and two get youre papers... and I PASSED! Im so excited, I want really nervious, but just anxious. I want to be done! its almost may and Im ready for June. Anywho ... Bishop Shope our state CE director gave us the 'ok' for our drama team to take not jsut one but both or our dramas to General Assembly, so that is really exciting, here are some picture of when we were st our state compition.

Well its been run here and when youre done run over there type pf a week. I hoop all of you got out and voted in hte PA primary today..... * clears throat--- go McCain* Our church drama team traveled down to Manns Choice over the weeeknd to compete in 'Teen Talent/ Talen Fest' and we had a lot of individual competitors but our drama team presented two dramas one to " let go" by RED and the other one " come up here" by Jason Upton, they are very powerful and so awesome to be a part of, andsaying all of that out of very many other dramam teams competing against us we took first plce in both divisions with both of our dramas. YAY! Im so proud this also means that our drama team can take our dramas and compete nationally at General Assembly... im so excited! anywho, im waiting for thomas to get the drama videos uploaded and Ill put them on with some pictures....

Im sorry, I am so busy, I know thats all I seem to say... but its true! NOthing too big is happening right now... just running from one thing to another.... this past weekend mom casey and I went to jamestown for a mother daughter event with Rebecca St. James and Evie, nad it was so fun! Aliya's detication was on Sunday and it was very nice! And now this weekend, Im running off to ' Teen Talent' Our church Drama team is competing nad Jeremiah is the leader of our praise team and hes working really hard on those things plus work and school and drama, hes so good at everything..... good thing he keeps me in line! Anywho.... busy,busy,busy!

Ok, I have finally found some time to blog. I have been so busy lately! I was in Lancaster for the past week for FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America). I was the annual State Leadership Confrence. I was so amazing! We had the keynote spears R5 Productions, http://www.r5online.com/default.htm , They were amazing! Basically theyre 3 guys in theier 20's who are truely blessed the ability to talk to youth about relevant issues and them actually listen and get it. You should really check them out! Also at the confrence was Jason Westerheide the 2008 FCCLA National President, he was great! Jason is a wonderful friends and I was proud to have served my term of office in FCCLA with him! On Thursday night we had a banquet honoring the State exectuve coucil and here are som pictures of us!...

Also, On friday my family and I headed over to New York City for the weekend. I had never been to the city before but is was so fun, I love travelingnad experiencing new things and different cultures. I know its weird to think about a place in the same country about 400 miles away can have a totally different culture, but is was really neat. But is was good to come home, After the 7th day I was tired of living out of a suit case!... LOL!

Also, My birthday was on Sunday and I got a pretty amazing gift. Well I did get many gift and thankyou to all that sent my gifts I loved them all, but I think you would agree that this one... it just kinda beat all the other....

Oh, my where do I start... well i havent posted in a few days because Im and just SO BUSY! Wed. night after church Jeremiah and I finally found some time adn we had a lovely jello fight outside in hte dark 30 degrees night. But it was so much fun! since then, I have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off getting ready for this week for FCCLA. Im headed to Lancaster as soon as im done typing this, then to NYC for the weekend, which is my birthday! so im jsut dont have time, but Ill try to get caught up with some down time while im away this week.....

As most of you know, I work at a Doctors office. Well, wokring at a Doctors office has its perks, free/dicounted health care, good insurance, experience, ect. Well, Doctors offices usually, if there are between 25-35 empolyees, drug reps. will bring lunceveryday for the office, basically buying hte doctors time to sell their drug. Make sense? Well, while the Doctor meets with hte drug rep ever luch, the nurses eat luch too! So, yesterday a rep brough in 'O'Charley's' and it was wonderful, as luch usually is. But it was different yesterday..... We usually get dessert, cookies, maybe a cake, you know... reasonable dessert. Well, yesterday we had the most amazing chocolate cake. It was already sliced into slices the size of my face! It was amazing!!!! I took some pitures, after I had some of it.. LOL!...

Happy Easter to all, HE IS RISEN! Today was very nice. We, being, My mom,dad, Casey and I, wentt o church, and looked beautiful as well as all the other ladies at church to day. Then we ate Easter Dinner, which was backwards, we had ham yesterday and chicken today... anyways, then went to see 'Horton Hear's a Who'. It was so good! I love it! Well, I have been sick lately. Its a belly-somting-or-other. I just dont feel good. But there is good news, I have been watching a lot of movies, Ive watched employee of the month twice already in the past about... 19 hours.... I love that movie! Its so funny!

Also, mom started working at Dr. Dudzinski's aswell, and its cool. It a little weird tellingmy mom how to do things, but its really cool. ......

Lent is Over...

Lent is over for my family now, so tonight Casey adn I enjoyed a lovely Rizzo's sub and a smallville marathon! It was very enjoyable! Casey and I also has a very time taking pictures to get her.....

So, Clearly, Casey and I are babes!

My dad brought home an air fresher today that smeels like 'sugar cookies' but actually it smells like pure butter! and It makes my mouth water!!! its so yummy! Also, today I handed in my final senior portfolio and it feels so good!!! I feel almost done, and I hate it! I want to be ALL done, you know? Any who, Jeremiah is working late so, im bored. Speaking of that kind gentleman of mine... im so proud of him!!! He received a letter from Lee University not too long ago saying they have all of his houding all set up and hes so excited, im so happy for him!!! Please keep us in your prays, were both looking forward to this 'new frontier', it is Tennessee so I can say that, LOL! Love y'all

SO today, school was, well, school. I think am close to fully embody the term 'senioritis' right now. so inorder to keep up with my lack of will to do anything close to even resembling school work I picked up my favorite past time... Coke Zero!!!!!!... all I have to say is DELICIOUS! I dont love soda too much, and I dont drink it hardly at all.. but moms out of town and that means... the house is a mess and I can drink soda till my hearts content!

I do want my mom to come home, I miss her and Casey!

Today wasnt the best. But its getting better.

Work was good, I didnt do much. I was on the other end of the needle today though, I got my Hep. B shot, and I HATE needeles!!!!!! I was so physhed I almosted passed out! wholy cow, I had to sit there for a little bit, and now my arm hurts, but I'm ok!

Oh, good news, for me at least, I got everyone that I drew blood from today on my first stick! YAY!

I just made dad some nachos for dinner out of turkey burger, ew, so now im on my way to subway.....

Almost Done...

I have been working on my senior portfolio and here is the all-most-finished copy so far. It took so long but im really proud of it!!! Its almost done!!! After the 17th comes around, im pretty sure, me and everyone else in school will have the will to do... nothing. Oh well, we'll see.

So We are, being- Hannah, Casey, Jeremiah, Eliz, and maybe mom & dad, and mom & dad Martin... not too sure the final count, are going to see Horton Hears a Who! Everyone should go, Dr. Seuss was known for writing about democracy, in this movie the Pro-Life message is basically screaming...please go support this movie! Ok, Obviously, Blogging ... is well necessary. Hannah just "got" a new one and Mandi has a fabulous one soI felt left out. Now I dont have children, so I cant post pictures or silly stories of Air vent trash cans or baby news. But... college is soon and I sure this is nice way to keep people updated on my life rather than cheesey post cards or just not knowing. So thanks to Mandi and Hannah, im joining the club.

Also, God is really do awesome things in my life as well as my family and the people around me and I hope that sharing the things that he is doing will encourage all of you.
